Innerhalb kurzer Zeit sterben zwei Menschen während der Grenzkontrollen an der Transitstrecke an Herzversagen. Einer von ihnen ist der 45-jährige Rudolf Burkert aus Bremen, der mit seinem Freund einen Boxkampf in West-Berlin besuchen will. Er wird am Grenzkontrollpunkt Drewitz verhört und stirbt.
